
Nikolaos is both a lawyer and a commercial negotiator in the international sector of the petroleum industry and has worked for Exxon, Mobil Oil and Sun Company in addition to having served as a consultant to Amoco and PennzEnergy over a period of 40 years. He has lived in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Norway, El Salvador and has rights of residency in the UK; he is a US citizen and resides in Greece and the US.
Nikolaos’ work in the legal arena has primarily been in the exploration and production sectors although he has also worked in the refining and marketing sectors. He has negotiated and drafted agreements with more than 20 governments or national oil companies in Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East. Additionally, he has negotiated and drafted exploration joint venture agreements with other major international corporations. He has also served as Manager of Acquisitions and Divestments for Sun Company.
Nikolaos received a B.A. from Emory University, a J.D. from the University of Florida law School and a LL.M. (in Taxation) from New York University. He is a member of The Florida Bar, American Bar Association and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
