Gregory Mourgelas


The Team /

Gregory is the founder and Managing Partner of the Firm.

Gregory founded G. Mourgelas & Associates almost 40 years ago, after leaving the in-house legal department of Esso Pappas (Exxon’s former corporate structure in Greece).

Gregory is widely recognized in, among others, the Advertising and Media, Energy, Environmental and Real Estate sector as well as in Corporate & Commercial Law and Public Procurements and has participated over the years in all stages of major Technology projects and Government Procurements, including the Defense sector.

The clients look for and rely on Gregory’s experience and his charisma in creating solutions for complex transactions and corporate schemes. He is actively engaged and advises clients in all Practices of the Firm.

He is a member of the Athens Bar Association and member of the Board of Directors of the Greek- Swedish Chamber of Commerce. Gregory has been a member of the Board of Directors of many associations, institutions and companies of the private or public sector, such as of Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE) and of the Athens Festival.

He speaks Greek and English fluently.
