Fotini Minaki

Fotini is an associate at G. Mourgelas & Associates; she is a member of the firm since 2005.

Fotini specializes mainly in Sports Law, Employment Law, Real Estate, Food and Beverages Law and Debt Recovery.

Fotini regularly advises Greek and foreign (professional and amateur) volleyball players, trainers and players’ agents in all matters of Sports Law. Her recent work includes, among others, drafting of the Regulation on the relationships between the sports associations and professional volleyball players, drafting of contracts between athletes and sports associations and dispute resolution on matters of Sports Law. Fotini also advises clients on Debt Recovery matters and has recently concluded negotiations with Banks on the outstanding loans of clients as part of the out of court settlement provided by the recent Law on indebted households.

Fotini is the legal advisor of the Hellenic Professional Volleyball Players’ Association and she has attended the Kickoff Conference of the joint European Union Athletes' and Uni Global Union "Supporting Social Dialogue"-Project that took place in Madrid in September 2011.

Fotini is a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2008. She acquired her law degree from the University of Athens (LL.B.) and she is completing the postgraduate program on Sports Law at the faculty of physical education and sport science (University of Athens).

She speaks Greek and English fluently.
